welcome to Terra dalal's kitchen i
nutritionist muruga today we'll show you
popular breakfast recipe named muesli
muesli is a balanced combination of
cereals daily product fruits and dry
fruits it is a complete breakfast as it
contains a good dose of protein fiber
iron minerals calcium vitamins and
antioxidants so let's begin a recipe
you
first we'll lightly roast pours chopped
walnuts and chopped almonds we'll dry
roast on a slow flame for 4 to 5 minutes
it's been 4 to 5 minutes and you can see
oats have turn a little light brown in
color I'll switch off the flame I'll
transfer the mixture into a deep bowl
and will allow it to cool slightly and
then we'll proceed to our next step so
now I'll add vanilla essence to give
that nice flavor and to give sweetness
since we're not adding any sugar I'll
add raisins we'll just mix it well this
is a dry mixture of muesli ready you can
store it in an airtight container and
then you can serve it your in breakfast
with milk and fruits our muesli is ready
so now let's proceed to serving for
serving I have taken 1 foot of the
prepared muesli to that I'll add chopped
apple 2 bananas here I have taken banana
because you need energy in the morning
but you can always replace it with other
fruits like strawberry or oranges I'll
add little sugar and finally milk just
mix it well
and here your breakfast is ready

It is a complete breakfast by itself as it contains a good dose of protein, calcium, iron, fibre, vitamins and antioxidants. You can mix up all the dry ingredients and stock it in an air-tight container, so you just need to add the chopped fruits and milk when consuming on a time-pressed day! Preparation Time: 5 minutes. Cooking Time: 5 minutes Serves 4. 1 cup quick cooking rolled oats 1 tbsp chopped walnuts (akhrot) 1 tbsp chopped almonds (badam) ¼ tsp vanilla essence 3 tbsp raisins (kismis) For serving 3 cups chilled low-fat milk, 99.7% fat-free 1 cup chopped apples (unpeeled) 1 cup sliced bananas 3 tsp sugar 1. Combine the oats, walnuts and almonds and lightly roast in a non-stick pan on a slow flame for 4 to 5 minutes, while stirring continuously. 2. Cool completely, add the vanilla essence and raisins and mix well. Store in an air-tight container. 3. For serving, place ¼th of the muesli mixture in a bowl, add ¼ cup of apple, ¼ cup of banana and ¾ tsp of sugar. 4. Pour ¾ cup of milk over it and mix well. 5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 to make 3 more servings. Serve immediately. Nutritive values per serving Energy: 276 calories Protein: 9.9 gm Carbohydrates: 44.5 gm Fat: 4.5 gm Fibre: 3.0 gm Calcium: 262.7 mg Iron: 1.9 mg
